The AAP-CA3, a non-profit 501(c)3 is able to accept book money for sites and provide a tax deductible receipt. Sites that do not have this non-profit status can have donors send a check to the AAP- CA3 indicating that this money should be set aside for a particular site. There is no charge to sites for this service.

Davis Visit 1008 Congresswoman Davis Visits San Diego Family Care, Mid-City Community Clinic
    October 16, 2008

Congresswoman Davis shares her love for reading with a visit to San Diego Family Care, Mid-City Community Clinic. On October 16 Family Health Center hosted Congresswoman Susan Davis during a visit for the Reach Out and Read Program.

"When my boys were young, I began reading to them at a very early age. Today, I take great joy in sharing stories with my grandchildren. As a former member of the San Diego School Board, I know that literacy is fundamental to every child's education", said Congresswoman Davis.

Thank you to Adell Bateman for making this a great event.
